So do you remember growing up when the teacher would ask…”What is one thing that makes you unique?” well I hated that question because I was never sure. I always felt like people had some fabulously extravagant answers like “Well i studied in Asia this summer” or “I am double jointed”. First of all what elementary school kid studies in Asia? Anyway, I usually ended up saying I am the oldest in my family or something super cliche. Now when I get asked that question I say the same answer everytime…I am born on the Fourth of July. Why didn’t I think of that that answer 10 years ago. I mean I think that’s pretty unique. Since I was born I have been wearing red white and blue, so now at 19 I find myself subconsciously putting together outfits or adding in one of the three colors to make myself patriotic at all times. It is bizarre. It must be engrained in me or I have been so exposed to it from a young age that I am now drawn to the colors. My college comforter is navy and white…so I HAD to get a red pillow to throw on top. My mom feels bad for my younger brothers, not only am I the only girl. the oldest, the favorite(just kidding) but I was born on a national holiday…how do you top that? As you can tell I really take pride in being born on that wonderful day.

What else can I say. I have two younger brothers, Scott & Erik. My dad is beyond obssessed with the Yankees Giants and Rangers. Due to his obsession our dog is named Munson, for his favorite player on the Yankees. (also our house number is 15 which was Therman Munson’s number…weird right)

I grew up in a small town where everyone knows everyones business. You will find your parents reading about your weekend in the Holmdel Happenings the next morning…just kidding…but seriously. I came to St. Joe’s to experience a new state, new city, and just branch out from my small cozy upbrining.

Thats all for now…i’ll be back soon.
